Entangled Karma

Oftentimes when a parent has narcissistic qualities it can have a very deep impact on their child. A parent may impose their karma onto the child, seeing the child as an extension of themselves. There are many levels how this may play out.

For example, the parent may make the child commit and participate in activities that are more for their satisfaction than the child’s. In essence, they are living vicariously through the child. From the outside the activity can seem harmless or even well intended. However, if it does not align with the child’s heart it can result in many emotional and physical problems that become deeply ingrained in the child and manifest later in life. Because your heart is the ruler such a pattern can later manifest in more than one organ or system.

For example, the person may be carrying a deep sadness along with anger and resentment which can later affect the lungs, liver and gallbladder functioning. Or maybe there is more fear and anxiety of not being good enough which can affect the heart, kidney and bladder functioning.

In more extreme cases the child must take on the role of the responsible adult at such a young age that it robs them of a normal childhood. This can also lead to a variety of mental and physical imbalances. As an adult the inner child may come forward and act out in a way where they no longer want to be responsible and want others to care for them. Or they may continue to feel strongly about helping and fixing their parents and others around them giving up their own life in some way.

The emotions are buried deep in the body and these patterns become part of the core of who you are in a sense. If they are connected to your ego, self identify and self worth, the healing process can become more powerful and challenging. The ego has a blueprint on how to survive in this world and often will resist change in fear of disappearing or dying. However for those on a path of healing, the deeper, more pure part of your heart knows there is light at the end of the tunnel.

As I have mentioned before many who come to me are the generational cycle breakers. Some have done years of healing work before working with me and others are just deciding to swallow the red pill and come out of the matrix. Everyone is ready to go deeper, gain more insight and make permanent, positive changes.

If you have read this far, I would now like to share a reminder to all on a healing path. Whether you are helping a patient, friend or family member you cannot take on their karma as your own. Each person has their own karma and their own responsibility to work on themselves or not. Some of my work may involve cutting cords of suffering, giving back stuff that’s not yours and getting pieces of yourself back to feel more whole and complete. This process is more complicated and challenging when there is entangled karma. It requires another level of presence, empathy, compassion, trust, discipline, creativity, support, wisdom,  forgiveness and faith.

For those who have worked with me, I would like to thank you all for trusting me with your hearts, honoring me with that trust and for pushing me to continue to do my own work moving forward on our healing journeys.

Wishing you all the best.

Peace and Love.
